Jeffersonsville Car Accident Attorney

We represent people injured in auto accidents in Jeffersonville, Kentucky.

You need someone to look after your legal interests and help you get back on your feet as soon as possible.  You need an attorney who is actually from the Jeffersonville area and knows how to select a Montgomery County jury.  The lawyers from outside the area that you see advertising all over television do not know the difference between Jeffersonville and Mount Sterling.

If you were in a car wreck in Montgomery County due to another’s negligence, the first thing you need to understand is that you are entitled to recover money.  The second thing you need to understand is that the insurance company will do everything they can to make sure you are paid the least amount as possible.

To most people injured in Montgomery County, the process of recovering their losses is overwhelming, if not impossible.

Attorney Ryan Allison, who actually practices in Montgomery County courts, will meet with you free of charge to discuss your case with you.  You will never pay any fees during your case.  Our firm only earns a fee if you settle with the insurance company.  Contact us today for a free appointment. What settlement am I entitled to following a car accident?

Simply put, you entitled to be paid back:

  • your medical bills
  • medical bills you will have in the future
  • your past lost wages from missing work
  • future lost wages
  • out-of-pocket expenses
  • transportation expenses
  • pain & suffering

These are just some of the areas in which you are entitled to recover money from the at-fault person’s insurance company. And they add up to thousands upon thousands of dollars.  The Allison Law Firm will help get you the settlement you deserve.

Won't my insurance company take care of me?

No.  Your insurance company will have a reserve account called Personal Injury Protection (“PIP”) that will pay for some of your medical expenses.  A trip to the ER will likely take half or all of that money, leaving you little left to keep treating and getting better.  If you want to make sure that ALL of your medical bills are paid (both those bills that you’ve already been charged and those you will have in the future), then you have to file a claim with the insurance company of the person who caused the accident. You need an attorney who is experienced in filing those claims.

Will the at-fault person's insurance company just cut me a check?

They would LOVE to “just cut you a check” because they know that it will be for FAR less than your claim is worth.  Then you would run the risk of being responsible for thousands of dollars of past medical bills and not having the money you need to pay any medical bills in the future.  Keep in mind that insurance companies are not charitable aid organizations like The Red Cross or The Salvation Army.  Insurance companies are businesses with the ultimate goal of paying you as little as possible so that they can make more money.  Your accident will be assigned an insurance adjuster who gets graded by that insurance on how effective he or she was at saving the company money.  Hiring an attorney sends them the message that you are taking your claim seriously and expect fair compensation.

The Allison Law Firm will:
  • Immediately take over dealing with the insurance companies.
  • Get you signed up for $10,000 that will pay your medical bills or reimburse you for lost wages.
  • Ensure that you have money to cover transportation or other out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Collect your medical records from your doctors and other treating professionals.
  • We have a registered nurse who will review your medical records.
  • After your doctors have a handle on your medical injuries, we will submit a detailed settlement demand to the insurance company in order to get you the money you deserve.
